There are a few variations to this onsie. One of my favorites is this one:
It is available on Etsy. Since I am still learning how to sew and applique intimidates me I chose not to do this one. (Isn't that called applique?)
I couldn't find the source of this one,
but it is very cute as well and happens to be the one that I attempted.
Here is my attempt:
Nope, your eyes aren't being weird. It is crooked.
I loosely hand stitched the ribbon pieces on and then layed the turkey on the onsie. My big mistake there was only using two needles to pin it down, that is why it is a little skeewompous. Then I zigzag stitched around the turkey.
I SO want to make my daughter this outfit.
It is from this site, http://store.babyblingthingsboutique.com/categories.aspx?Keyword=thanksgiving
